In 2021-22 and 2022-23, a large urban district rolled out a high-dosage tutoring initiative, with the ambitious goal of reaching 7000 students, as one of its signature priorities to address unfinished learning resulting from the pandemic. Using interviews from key organizational leaders, principals, tutor leads, and tutors, as well as surveys of students and tutors, this paper examines the implementation and potential for sustainability of the initiative.
