This proposal investigates the transformative potential of artist residencies for K-12 students. Employing the “aesthetic transformative” model, the study examines how residencies create aesthetic capital - intrinsically rewarding experiences enriching participants' lives. Using educational connoisseurship and criticism, the qualitative research analyzes interviews, observations, and documents to uncover valuable insights.
