Sat, April 13, 9:35 to 11:05am, Pennsylvania Convention Center, Floor: Level 200, Exhibit Hall B

Abstract

This Participatory Action Research study explores the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in teacher education. Collaborating with teacher candidates, educators, and in-service teachers, we examine AI's integration and its potential benefits and challenges. The study fosters inclusive dialogue, empowering participants to co-create solutions for ethical AI implementation in curricula. Key focuses include attitudes towards AI, personalized learning, and equity considerations. By presenting preliminary findings, we invite attendees to engage in discussions about AI's role in shaping future education. The session encourages sharing best practices and lessons learned, contributing to a thoughtful and informed approach to AI in teacher education.
