This qualitative narrative inquiry study examined the lived experiences of Latinx/o/e men enrolled in higher education/student affairs administration master's level graduate programs. The participants’ experiences were examined through the Socio-Ecological Outcomes Model (Harris & Wood, 2016). The preliminary findings describe how social identities inform student growth and development, the importance of relationship building with faculty of color, and the commitment that Latinx/o/e HESA men students make to addressing the struggles of undergraduate Latinx/a/o students. Recommendations include the importance of assessing and evaluating the student success needs of Latinx/o/e HESA men students, the importance of assessing and evaluating HESA curriculum in relation to various socio-ecological domain needs, and supporting student growth and development through social identities based faculty mentorship opportunities.
