This genealogical study analyzes the biopolitical lineages between U.S. eugenics and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) campaigns, emphasizing parallels and ACEs' distinctions as a neoliberal biopolitics. Drawing on Foucauldian theories, it examines how ACE discourse governs a probabilistic model of a biologically stratifying paradigm with implications across fields and social systems, including education theory and practice. By shedding light on the enduring impact of eugenics carried through ACE discursive and material practices, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of its biopolitical legacies and distinctly neoliberal consequences.
