Capacity Building: Perspectives From Notable Intermediaries and Scholars

Abstract

The final portion of this symposium will consist of a panelist discussion with representatives from The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Lumina Foundation, Ascendium, and the UNCF Institute of Capacity Building to share how they interpret and implement capacity building in the work. In addition to the intermediary's representatives, scholars whose works center capacity building will provide their perspectives on the culturally relevant frameworks discussed in the presentation and the intermediaries capacity-building ideals. Time will be set aside for the audience to ask questions and share their perspective.
