This paper examines: 1) the deployment of an Anti-Racist and Decolonizing Research (ARDR) collaborative to democratize knowledge and disrupt structural racism and systemic oppression in research methods; and 2) the complexity of positionality and roles among those engaged. Utilizing a roundtable discussion, we first present our inter-relational reflexive praxis to explore the complexity and nuances of ARDR and knowledge democratization at our large, primarily White public institution of higher education located in the Washington, DC region. We will then facilitate a broader discussion with roundtable participants to delve into questions of involvement, labor, credit, and context in the democratization process, interrogating the challenges and opportunities in ARDR implementation and utility of inter-relational reflexivity as a tool to advance ARDR.
