This study explores the impact of faculty training on the use and adoption of educational technology platforms in an underserved Western-Caribbean post-secondary institution. Utilizing the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), the study reveals significant improvements in faculty use and adoption following individualized training. The findings underscore the need for differentiated and ongoing support, particularly when serving racially diverse populations. The study highlights the potential for leveraging the expertise of graduate assistants or researchers as a cost-effective solution for access to high-quality faculty training and development in resource-constrained settings. This research contributes to the discourse on technology adoption in education and offers actionable insights for institutions seeking to enhance instructional quality and address racial injustice in education.
