To advance social justice in education, we created the Global Social Justice in Education (GSJE) learning community, bringing together educators from seven countries to discuss social (in)justice in local and global educational contexts. This roundtable paper presents one outcome of our efforts - an edited book with a collection of GSJE activities designed to promote social justice and intercultural competence in educational settings. We will briefly share the frameworks and research methods employed for the audience to understand the context and rationale behind the activities presented in the book. We will engage the audience with one activity from the book to illustrate the affordances of the GSJE activities to enhance educators’ intercultural competence and understandings of global social justice.
