This article aims to explore possible approaches to healing intersecting oppressions from a holistic perspective and using a critical social theory lens. The goal is to propose an examination of current practices by inquiring into how holistic methods to healing can redirect intersecting oppressions of race, class, gender, sexuality, nation, culture, and religion to promote competent actions that are conducive to social justice. Using a holistic medicine schema as a model for discussion, this paper deals with some interrelated concepts in the area of intersecting oppressions.
