This paper session shares the testimonios of past and present Latinx educational leadership and administration graduate students in cohort models in two Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) universities in the southwestern United States. Findings demonstrate the value and challenges of a cohort model for these Latinx leaders aiming to ascend to leadership positions in their schools and districts. This research also provides some insight into the effects of the career trajectory of program participants who identified as Latinx.
