On Appointing the Next School Leader: Through the Eyes of the Deaf School Community

Abstract

This presentation will describe a study of multiple schools of the deaf that have recently undergone significant transitions in their leadership that had both positive and adverse effects on the school’s community. We explore how these transitions occurred through the eyes of stakeholders with recommendations for future transitions.
