Efforts to support the educational outcomes for Men of Color (MoC) students have increased in recent decades which is reflected by the launch of My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) during the Obama administration and increases in the scholarly body of literature. Given the contentious political environment with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, this roundtable session will focus its attention on MoC programs because of their position and infrastructure to support MoC. By drawing on an institutional questionnaire and our cultural intuition (Delgado Bernal, 1998), the purpose of this roundtable session is to discuss the evaluation needs of MoC programs through a critical-race grounded approach to better position MoC programs for long-term sustainability (Malagon et al., 2009).
