This paper provides a literature review contextualizing the discourse on undocumented students and their access to higher education. Guided by the Undocumented Critical Theory, this composition examines the four themes found in the literature: Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals experiences, the othered & in fear phenomenon, a community that is under service, and the academic excellence illustrated by undocumented scholars despite adversities.
