Sat, April 13, 1:15 to 2:45pm, Pennsylvania Convention Center, Floor: Level 200, Exhibit Hall A

Abstract

The sudden outburst of COVID-19 has forced many changes in multiple areas of society and people’s daily life. Education was a critical area that passively adjusted to remote settings within a short period (e.g., Mishra et al., 2020; Rapanta et al., 2020).Under this situation, school administrators, instructors, and students were all facing challenges due to the large scale of transformation and the lack of related experiences and preparations (Yang & Durrington, 2010). Therefore, how instructors and students approach remote learning and the perceived outcome of online courses is considered essential to identifying the current challenges and effectively facilitating improvements soon. This study analyzed multiple factors influencing students' learning outcomes and prospective during online learning in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
