Abstract

This mixed methods study characterizes students who enroll part-time in Texas public two-year institutions, identifies why they enroll part-time, and locates areas in policy, practice, and programming where reform can take place to improve their outcomes. Data examined includes administrative records from state agencies, and survey and interview data from community college administrators and part-time students.
