Data is often regarded as a difficult area that only some professional adults can deal with, but data literacy is an essential literacy in the 21st century. To support children's understanding of data, we designed and investigated a program for hands-on, learning-on-the-move experiences for data literacy at a public library. Analyzing recordings from GoPro cameras used by children themselves, we aim to investigate how children conceptualize data. This proposal particularly demonstrates our preliminary analysis of one case (a duo of a 10-year-old girl and her mother) where the child as an active agent explored various places in the library, found new meanings from familiar objects, and shaped her perception of data.
