This study aimed to address the need for rigorously analyzed information by employing hierarchical linear modeling (HLM) to investigate factors impacting learning outcomes. This research delved into the impact of associated factors using international assessments. Through questionnaires accompanying ERCE tests, three models were formulated to examine third-grade language outcomes in Panama, Costa Rica, and Colombia.
Results demonstrated family socioeconomic index significantly impacted all three countries. Violence within schools and rural settings showed contrasting effects. Access to resources and teacher development surfaced as influential variables. Findings unveiled disparities, underscoring the importance of targeted interventions and policy reform. This research contributes to the global academic discourse, offering a comprehensive understanding of primary education contexts and informing decision-making on educational policies and practices.
