Through a retrospective case-study design, this research incorporated both teachers’ and parents’/caregivers’ voices and experiences about pandemic remote education and their collaborations and partnerships across pandemic stages. The findings revealed the immediate impact at the early stage, such as challenges of delivering remote instruction at students’ home, and the use of digital technology for school-home communications. Long-term implications include a deeper and mutual understanding between teachers and parents/caregivers and increasing parental agency. This study also brings forward possibilities and opportunities to enhance home-school partnerships in the “post” pandemic era, such as creating family-engagement events to help parents/caregivers gain more agency and voices in their children’s education. This is especially important for students from historically minoritized communities.
