Student agency is a central component to designing a learning environment that is more equitable and social-justice oriented. The National Science Foundation grant-funded (#1923406) project titled CS-LISTEN centers student voice and agency by employing Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) design focused on equity in computer science (CS) education. A student-facing website that houses resources and support for students to employ a manageable version of CS-LISTEN and lead their own YPAR projects would position learners directly as drivers and leaders. In partnership with the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA), this website is being developed alongside K-12 CS teachers. This session will serve as brainstorming for how to better align this site with larger goals of equity and justice-oriented computer science education.
