In this paper, the author utilizes the tools of narrative inquiry to explore her own story of ethnoracialization, in an effort to visibilize the Second-Generation Asian American experience. The author shares three stories from across her schooling in which her unmeltability (Joshi, 2006) came into focus. By sharing these stories, the author hopes to illuminate the ways in which schools serve as ongoing sites of ethnoracialization.
