This study aims to examine how culturally congruent educational wellness programs have addressed issues of trauma, diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and accessibility (DEIBA) within their program’s organizational and strategic plans, policies, practices, and procedures. More specifically, this case study examines how such guidelines and rules cultivate a sense of belonging and makes the best use of holistic educational approaches to learning among its participants. Using a Radical Healing theory framework, this study also examines if and how the complexities of race and institutional racism are factored into the program’s model to cultivate healing-centered pedagogies.
