This study analyzed students’ digital entrepreneurship competence in an online training
program through a questionnaire survey and a semi-structured interview. Teachers argued the
online program promoted digital entrepreneurship competence, especially opportunity
identification whereas learners reported initiation and collaboration sub-competence with the
highest score. The study examined online venture creation training, which might facilitate the
theoretical and practical development of digital entrepreneurship competence in online learning
settings.
