This quantitative research investigates how specific high-impact practices affect college students' likeliness to thrive. College students who thrive are fully engaged intellectually, socially, and emotionally in the college experience, according to thriving expert Dr. Laurie Schreiner. This study will survey 800 undergraduates at small liberal arts colleges to investigate how integrated advising and engagement in co-curricular activities correlate to students’ likeliness to thrive in college. Findings from this research indicate that cocurricular activities and students’ engagement with academic advisors support students’ likelihood to thrive in college and beyond.
