This study aims to address the research questions through a social perspective taking (SPT) intervention that encourages parents to empathize with their children's perspectives, therefore fostering open communication and responsible parental monitoring. Questions include, (1) How can parents understand the emotions and experiences of adolescents in relation to monitoring? (2) How can they promote considerate approaches towards adolescents' privacy and emotions in the context of parental monitoring?
