In this paper discussion, we present a discussion on the possibilities of intersectionality in both qualitative and quantitative research that centers on Black girls, gender-expansive youth, and other girls of color in our research and praxis. Researchers who theorize or practice from an intersectional perspective recognize the cultural and political agency of Black girls as well as their complex racial, gender, linguistic, and social class identities.
