Abstract

The overarching purpose of CREST is to implement and then scale up effective solutions for supporting school partners with (1) increasing positive academic outcomes for students of color through ethnic studies curricula; (2) developing, implementing, and expanding career pathways to teaching and post-secondary pathways for Africana Studies majors and minors, and (3) strengthening recruitment and retention of racially and ethnically diverse preservice teachers.
