The Journal of Educational Foundations invites submissions that advance scholarship and critical thinking about the field of educational foundations. As an interdisciplinary field, educational foundations employs intellectual traditions and histories across curriculum studies, educational philosophy, politics, critical literacy, sociology, anthropology, and critical geography, to name a few. The field has rich histories of thinking through, and with, Indigenous traditions, critical race theories, critical dis/ability studies, women and gender studies, queer theories, and a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods. The Journal of Educational Foundations aims to bring together scholars across disciplines and stages in their careers, from graduate students to established scholars, to enrich the complex conversations within the field of educational foundations. To recognize the multiple ways of being, knowing, and doing within the field and the narratives captured in this journal, we welcome traditional research articles, as well as non-traditional formats such as sound files, videos, and other forms of artistic expression.
