The purpose of this study is to explore the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in revolutionizing education by examining the viewpoints of secondary school students, teachers, and university faculty. The data were collected from a sample in the Republic of Cyprus through anonymous online questionnaires and were analysed through a mixed methods methodology. The teachers in the study believed to a higher extent that AI can be incorporated in the various school subjects, which were followed by the students and the academic faculty. The participants also believed that Physical Education was the subject in which AI would be used to the least extent. The qualitative analyses of the data showed that all participants believed that AI would be integrated in school in ways that would benefit themselves (instruction, assessment), without focusing on helping students develop competencies in collaborating with AI that would be useful for their future careers.
