Abstract

Educational Studies, as the official journal of the American Educational Studies Association (AESA), invites submissions that advance critical thinking about important areas relevant to AESA and the disciplines of social and educational foundations. Educational Studies features the work of established/emerging scholars from a wide array of disciplines such as philosophy, history, politics, sociology, anthropology, geography, economics, Indigenous and critical race/ethnic studies, critical dis/ability, women and gender, queer, cultural, comparative, transnational, and diaspora studies. We particularly feature creative works that not only invigorate engagement in cross-disciplinary forum on and commitment to public education, cultural diversity, educational equality and equity, and environmental sustainability; but also engender deliberate curricular, pedagogical, program, policy, and community initiatives and movements toward social/ecological justice locally and globally.
