This project aims to examine how rapid guessing affects Diagnostic Classification Model (DCM) parameters and subsequent examinees classifications. Furthermore, it examines the efficacy to which motivation examinee filtering rules can mitigate the bias from rapid guessing. The study will answer both aims using a fully crossed 2x2x2x3 simulation design. The results are meant to be used as a guidebook for practitioners to consider when applying examinee motivation filtering DCM contexts.
