Fri, April 12, 4:55 to 6:25pm, Pennsylvania Convention Center, Floor: Level 200, Room 204ABC

Abstract

This study will be examining how elementary students enrolled in a dual language program decide to use their entire linguistic repertoire when constructing their identity as a bilingual individual. The study is specifically interested in examining students who are stronger in one language than another, and how those individuals do or do not see and portray themselves confidently as bilingual individuals.
