The study highlights the significant psychological strain and diverse experiences encountered by students during this transition. It also examines the role of high schools and universities in shaping these experiences. By understanding these dynamics, the study aims to contribute to the broader discourse on academic transition in the context of Chinese secondary and higher education context.
