Abstract

This research-in-progress aims to be an exploratory multiple case study of music educators in the English-speaking Caribbean. This study intends to be part one of a multistage study which will focus on participants who will be identified as music educators by profession in one Caribbean nation, St. Lucia. As an exploratory study, the knowledge gained will serve the purpose of pilot testing the interview protocol as well as to inform the creation of a survey instrument that will capture a wider range of responses of music educators throughout the wider region.
