This research investigates the influence of culturally responsive teaching (CRT) professional development on music educators' confidence and their perceptions of student engagement. The problem at hand is the scarcity of tailored professional development for music educators, leaving them grappling with the integration of CRT techniques into their classrooms. The study aims to understand how CRT professional development designed specifically for music educators affects their confidence levels and perceptions of student engagement, ultimately fostering inclusivity and enriching the musical experience for students.
