Sun, April 14, 11:25am to 12:55pm, Pennsylvania Convention Center, Floor: Level 200, Room 204ABC

Abstract

Instructional decisions are choices that faculty make while designing, implementing, and evaluating instruction. These decisions include learning goals, pedagogy, assessment, resources, tools, and mediums. Faculty's expertise in making these decisions determine students' learning experiences. Therefore, it is crucial to examine and improve instructional decisions, resulting in improved student learning experience. This study reports on a grounded theory model of instructional decisions and influencing factors, suggesting implications for professional development.
