Session Type: Symposium
In this panel, we pose this question for our research: what is a holistic, multidimensional perception of time connecting our inner and outer world, and connecting education to the Earth and the universe? More specifically, we discuss: When do we learn? What time has to do with learning? How are we beings in the interconnected web of life and energy, in the ever-changing ebb and flow of life, having a dynamic relationship with the environment, and not only doing, but also engaged in our personhood, our subjective knowing of self, other and the universe? Also, how much do we know about children and the impacts of major forces working in their life and learning process?
