Session Type: Symposium
This symposium examines domain-general and domain-specific grit, featuring four empirical contributions and a discussant contribution. Contribution 1 explores the link between domain-general grit and academic achievement, emphasizing its cultural relevance for Latinx undergraduates. Contribution 2 employs network analysis to study grit in Eastern and Western adolescent samples. Contribution 3 examines grit in English learning as a foreign language using an adult sample. Contribution 4 introduces a parental grit scale. The symposium offers valuable insights for researchers and practitioners.
