Session Type: Symposium
This symposium of 4 performances plus dance-discussant aims to address a range of injustices by enacting and embodying educational possibilities as a collective call to action. We build upon the words of Amanda Gorman and the example of racist censorship as a 'canary in the mine' forewarning of continued attacks on race, women, trans and queer people, and use our performative bodies and voices to resist the silencing that is gaining pace in our classrooms and our lives.
