Session Type: Symposium
This symposium will present and discuss four papers on the theme of media, culture, and learning education from multiple perspectives. Topics include: the negative impact of AI-generated content on marginalized groups in the entertainment industry; the application of AI in mental health diagnoses; the influence of violent media on behavior; and the implications for precision medicine's equitable care for Black American women. All aim to address educational and social issues through various approaches and solutions. This collection of papers are part of the New Jersey Scholars Program (NJSP), a five-week, highly selective summer program for rising seniors throughout the state of New Jersey. Following a general introduction of NJSP, each Scholar will present their papers.
