Teaching and Learning Research Methods SIG Business Meeting and Reception. Invited Panel About Teaching Research Methods Since the Pandemic

Abstract

After a brief welcome and review of SIG business, the business meeting will feature a special panel to discuss the demands of teaching of research methods since the pandemic. Panelists will include well-known scholars who represent diverse methodologies (e.g., quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods, evaluation, and action research) and different institutional contexts. Panelists will describe how their teaching of research methods has changed since the COVID-19 pandemic and the greatest challenges and opportunities that have emerged from these changes. The panel will conclude with panelists offering recommendations for teaching research methods in today's contexts. We look forward to connecting with our Teaching and Learning Research Methods SIG members and welcoming those who are interested in learning more about the SIG!
