A connecting element across the four papers in this session is the role of boundary spanners, bridgers, and multistakeholder collaboration in partnership work. Issues include structures and resources for boundary spanners; how boundary spanner agency can evolve; how institutions can serve as middle leaders or bridgers from research to practice; and leveraging multistakeholder collaboration in partnership work.
