Abstract

Researchers in this session 1) examine the impact of trauma, identity and language (TIDAL) on immigrant youth and their learning; 2) argue for a transcultural model in education in the context of immigrant families in Paris; 3) explore educators’ perceptions and attitudes towards immigrant children in South Italy; and 4) theorize gender-responsive teaching in Spain.
