Abstract

On the 100th anniversary of his birth, 60 years after his publication of The Fire Next Time, and 50 years after his work “A Dialogue “ (with Nikki Giovanni), James Baldwin’s work has had a tremendous scholarly influence in a variety of ways and disciplines. Curriculum scholars will examine, explore, discuss and debate the impact of Baldwin’s writings and activism to knowledge acquisition, knowledge production and knowledge construction.
