Abstract
This session highlights peacemaking, discomfort, and critical pedagogies and their role in issues of memory, truth, and reconciliation. Authors introduce the concept of "Buen Vivir" and explore the obstacles faced around research and advocacy in intractable conflicts, while examining awareness and empathy through intergroup emotional intelligence.
