Session Type: Invited Speaker Session
Diasporan literacies of minoritized groups have been understudied and under-researched in educational scholarship. This session amplifies five minoritized diasporan literacies with the goal of centering them in the research landscape and offering resources to activate and mobilize scholars to prioritize these knowledges bases. A discussion on solidarity across respective diasporan literacies rounds out the presentation, with implications for international contexts.
