Despite the international focus, the practical implementation of Education for Sustainable Development falls short, often hindered by varying national education priorities and limited comprehension of its role in reshaping education amidst global sustainability challenges (Wals, 2021). By bringing together international experts, the symposium seeks to create a collaborative platform for sharing insights and solutions that align educational initiatives with the global sustainable development goals, fostering a more equitable and sustainable future.
