Graduate Student Council Division A Fireside Chat: Equity-Focused K–12 School Leadership

Abstract

Our Fireside Chat is about equity-focused K-12 school leadership. By equity-focused leadership, we mean asset-based leadership that centers the needs of students and families. We see this as a key area of change in educational leadership, one that is of particular interest in AERA’s Division A. To that end, our Fireside Chat includes scholars whose research focuses on issues of diversity and equity in K-12 school contexts.
