Session Type: Invited Speaker Session
Reciprocal peer support and mentorship can be critical for doctoral students’ personal and academic success. Join us for an interactive session to explore and share the benefits of participating and running support groups for doctoral students across disciplines and institutions. In this session, through a mix of presentations and group discussions, panelists at different stages of their careers will provide suggestions and resources for finding, organizing, and leading peer support groups. By attending this session, doctoral students and faculty members will gain valuable insights into participating in and leading peer support groups that can foster a sense of community for mentorship and enhance students’ well-being within and beyond your department/institution.
