Mid-Career Scholar Pre-Conference Institute: Renewing and Maintaining Motivation in the Academy and Beyond (Invitation Only)

Abstract

This seminar explores mid-career pathways in and beyond the academy, including processes of promotion and projects of importance to scholars and their fields. A group of mid-career and senior scholar mentors from various sub-fields within teacher education will share stories of how they navigated their careers and pathways following tenure and other career milestones. Mentors will facilitate small and large group discussions in which mid-career scholars discuss their goals and challenges as they move through this middle stage of their careers.
